I am a political newcomer with 16 years of experience working in the local government. I am a mother, a wife, and your neighbor. I have an amazing family. My husband Bill was born and raised in Vancouver, and our girls are going to public schools here.
I am running for Vancouver City Council because I want my daughters to love Vancouver as much as I do, and because our city needs representative leadership that is focused, strategic, and accessible to the people. I run because the future of our city depends on you and I taking action.
When elected my leadership will reflect my belief that the policy-making process can be inclusive, that access to prosperity must be equitable and that the local business community needs to be supported and embraced to foster job growth.
I believe in America’s Vancouver where Building Our Community is a priority and status quo is not an option.
